The Los Angeles Athletic Club, a 72-room hotel and gym in downtown Los Angeles, is home to a splendid, vast swimming pool on the 6th floor, underneath a skylight. The pool has five lanes separated by lane dividers. Most of the swimmers who use the pool at the Los Angeles Athletic Club are monthly members of the Club rather than guests of the hotel.
There are luxurious men's and women's locker rooms, featuring hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas, on the floor below the pool, though they have (as of May 2021) not been open since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
