Hyatt Regency Jinan

The Hyatt Regency Hotel in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province in Eastern China, is home to one of the longest indoor pools of any hotel in the world. At 32 meters, or 105 feet, in length, the lap pool at the Hyatt Regency Jinan is about 30 percent longer than the 25-meter-long pools found in many Chinese Swim Hotels.

Many reviewers on TripAdvisor praised the Hyatt Regency Jinan pool for its long length and pretty design. However, one griped that the swimming pool was too narrow for use by more than a couple swimmers at a time, and said that the fifth-floor windows at the side of the pool looked out on "a pretty dismal view of the surrounding drabness." One TripAdvisor reviewer reported that the pool is monitored by a lifeguard.

The Hyatt Regency Jinan is moderately priced even by Chinese standards; basic rooms at the hotel are available for about $85 a night throughout 2021.

Overall, the Hyatt Regency Jinan is a good choice for swimmers seeking a hotel with a lap pool in Jinan, China, though the pool is not so spectacular that it's worth a special trip.
